Technology Watch System (Tech Watch)

IMC is the prime contractor for this major project at the US Army National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). The primary purpose of the Program is to provide intelligence support to Army force developers as they work to maintain military overmatch, while ensuring against technical surprise for the Future Force. To support this project, IMC created a data-generated Web-based modeling and simulation tool (The Technology Watch System). This tool is used by analysts to generate time estimates for technology and system development for both the US and its allies, and for our adversaries.

Business Process Review and Analysis :

Developed a 3-stage business process and methodology for creating predictive models to simulate the development of specific technologies.

Assisted in developing a modeling template derived from data requirements and process stages required for technology development. NGIC analysts can use this template to build predictive models to estimate the development of specific technologies by potential adversaries.

Worked with an NGIC SME to learn the process activities generally used in developing specific weapon systems. Based on this information, IMC built predictive models to help NGIC analysts estimate when potential adversaries might acquire specific "threat-level" technological capabilities.

Developed standards and a workflow process for all project documentation.

Developed a requirements management business process and associated methodology for managing various requirements throughout the project. Developed a workflow process for monthly financial reports and depicted this process in Microsoft Visio.
