This role will serve as the primary interface with the AO, QAE, and the PACAF Leadership.
Work Location: Onsite in Honolulu, HI.
Basic Required Qualifications and Skills: Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. - Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience within a senior-level security environment, supporting DoD or joint commands.
- At start date, must possess one or more of the following certifications in ACTIVE status:
- SecurityX (formerly CASP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Associate
- GSLC – GIAC Security Leadership certification
- Advanced experience with:
- Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- NIST guidelines
- Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), outstanding customer service, team building, and consensus-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused, organized, and plan work independently or collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through.
- Proven ability to:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment when handling situational occurrences.
- Provide technical support across secure and non-secure networks.
- Work with senior leaders in a Joint Operations Center, demonstrating polished technical skills and a professional mindset.
- Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.
- All applicants must have current DoD Top Secret clearance day one and prior to entry on duty, with the ability to pass an SSBI background investigation to up-scope their clearance to Top Secret/SCI.
Desired Qualifications and Skills: It is desirable that the candidate have the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Possess any of the following certifications in ACTIVE status:
- Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- 12+ years of experience within a senior-level security environment, supporting DoD or joint commands.
- Experience working in SOC, interfacing with General Officers and other senior leadership.
- Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Develop the overall RMF assessment Strategy.
- Approve Security Assessment Plans (SAPs).
- Perform final review/sign off of SAR, RAR, and POA&M artifacts before submission.
- Interpret ambiguous compliance requirements and advise on policy exceptions.
- Lead briefings (in-briefs, out-briefs, RAWG updates).
- Coach senior SCA and program teams, ensuring consistent methodology.
- Provide authoritative risk recommendations to the AO.
- Other duties as assigned.
